Hay and Straw Recipe (Ham and Noodles)

1 pkg. (16 oz.) linguine noodles
2 c. fully cooked ham, julienned
1 Tbs. butter
3 c. canned or frozen peas
1-1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
